Google launches Web Stories in Germany

SEO Philipp Tusch shared a screenshot of the Google Search Console performance report for a website he oversees on LinkedIn.

The first web stories created for German websites have been delivered for a few days. That doesn't appear to be an accident, as confirmed by Google's John Müller on Monday.

The focus here is on the visual representation. Little text, lots of pictures.

The first web stories are being delivered to German users.

It remains exciting to see whether this is an exception or whether Google will actually increasingly display web stories on the German search results pages and in the German version of Discover.
