The release of iOS 14/iPadOS 14 developer preview Beta 2. Today, Apple also released watchOS 7 beta 2 to developers. watchOS 7 includes new features, such as sleep tracking, new dial functions, fitness function improvements, and more. Today’s version further improves these functions.
Developers can install watchOS 7 Beta 2 through the companion Apple Watch application on the iPhone or through the “settings” application on the Apple Watch itself.
What Apple Watch models does watchOS 7 Beta 2 support?
With the debut of watchOS 7 this year, Apple will stop supporting Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch Series 2. This means that these models will continue to use watchOS 6, and other models will receive watchOS 7 updates:
- Apple Watch Series 3
- Apple Watch Series 4
- Apple Watch Series 5
watchOS 7 adds a variety of new features to the Apple Watch, including support for watch face sharing. Now, you can create and share watch faces with others, but developers can also provide pre-configured watch faces in their applications, as well as add watch faces from the Web.The Apple Watch now also supports sleep tracking, and the fitness app has been updated to include new dance exercises and improved calorie tracking, as well as core training and even relaxation after training.
