Earlier we got the news about the world’s first ‘mini’ ‘ iPhone this year which is expected to be called iPhone 12 Mini. The rumor and leak about this device suggest the pricing that we can expect around the US $500.

Here the next question coming in our mind is which chipset Apple going to use on it. Now, following with the new sources the company has to scale down something to make a profit from it.

So, there is a rumor in the market that Apple seems to use a scaled-down version of the A14 Bionic on the iPhone 12 Mini. In place of the A14 Bionic chip, sources have told that Apple is working on a mid-range chip (tentatively) called the B14.

Sources have told Twitter user MauriQHD that Apple is working on a mid-range chip (tentatively) called the B14. It is expected to make its debut alongside the iPhone 12 Mini and future iPhone SE devices.

Meanwhile, Apple is touted to adopt a slightly different naming scheme for the iPhone 12 devices. For instance, the 5.4-inch model is likely to be named iPhone Mini while the next higher model, the 6.1-inch version, could simply be named as the iPhone 12. Thereafter, its going to be the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max for the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch models, respectively.
