As per the SoC maker’s information, the Cambrian has officially released the third-generation cloud AI chip Siyuan 370, two accelerator cards MLU370-S4 and MLU370-X4 based on Siyuan 370.
Based on the 7nm process technology, Siyuan 370 becomes the first AI chip using chiplet technology. It integrates 39 billion transistors and has a maximum computing power of up to 256TOPS (INT8).
With the latest Cambrian smart chip architecture MLUarch03, compared with the increase in peak computing power, the measured performance of Siyuan370 is better: Taking ResNet-50 as an example, the measured performance of MLU370-S4 accelerator card (half-height, half-length) is 2 times the mainstream GPU of the same size; the measured performance of the MLU370-X4 accelerator card (full-height and full-length) is equivalent to that of the mainstream GPU of the same size, and the energy efficiency is significantly ahead.
Siyuan 370 is also the first domestic cloud AI chip to support LPDDR5 memory. The memory bandwidth is 3 times that of the previous generation product, and the memory access efficiency is 1.5 times that of GDDR6.
