Google recently removed many malicious Android apps from the Google Play Store after receiving reports of privacy abuse.
Specifically, Google identified at least 38 applications. They often stand out with irrelevant advertising. It is worth noting that all of these applications come from a development team.
The malicious application was discovered by the security company White Ops. After discovering the problem, the company reported it to Google and suggested which applications to remove. Most malicious applications this time relate to beauty apps, selfies, or image filters.
Once installed, these applications bombard users with excessive advertising by constantly opening a browser and redirecting to certain websites, and even preventing users from uninstalling the apps by hiding the application icon on the screen.
