The great protagonist of the Capcom conference at TGS 2022 was also Street Fighter 6, with a long presentation that showed different aspects of the new chapter in the famous fighting series, in particular as regard the return of classic characters, the World Tour and the Battle. Hub.
As for the characters, the video shows the return of real historical fighters of the saga, namely:
- Ken – former Champion and VP of Masters Foundation, finds himself forced to leave family and work and go into hiding due to false accusations against him, but returns to the ring to fight
- Blanka – defender of nature and adventurous tour guide, the “gentle” Blanka returns with his typical fighting style
- Dhalsim – yoga master of enormous experience, turns out to be an agile fighter and able to use flames when needed
- E. Honda – sumo superstar, Honda has developed a fighting technique that is perfectly suited to Street Fighting
In short, these are characters who do not need an introduction at all, given that they are part of the historical cast of Street Fighter II. Another novelty presented is the World Tour, which allows players to create and customize their own avatar to be used in what is a real story mode, where you can get to know various NPCs and advance combat after combat.
The Battle Hub allows you to use your own customized avatars in a sort of gigantic lobby area that allows you to search for multiplayer matches online with other players, within a cross-platform context that will lead to the construction of a large community of players.
