A new MIUI update rolling out to Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphone users in India. The latest update brings the August 2020 security patch update based on MIUI 11 for Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max getting MIUI 12 update. Currently, this update is rolling partially random users and soon it will expand to all Redmi Note 9 Pro Max users.

The latest update comes with the build number V11.0.6.0.PCOINXM for Redmi Note 8 and 12.0.1.0.QJXINXM for Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India. As per the information, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will soon receive the custom skin update but there is no ETA. You can download the update from the link mention below.
