Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next chapter in the assassin narrative, according to Ubisoft. Officially, we don’t know anything else, but a leak implies some gameplay and setting details.
Mr. Rebs_ relayed the information on Twitter, but the source is YouTuber j0nathan. According to the source, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be set in Baghdad: it will be the lone city, but it will be separated into four macro-zones, each of which will have a boss to defeat. The map will also include deserts, oasis, and rivers.
Throwing knives for ranged eliminations is said to be returning in terms of gameplay. In addition, points for hiding on building roofs will be reintroduced. This hints that stealth will be more important in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Additional Assassins Creed Mirage information has been shared by j0nathan (YouTube).

It is also reported that there would be various places of engagement for parkour in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, such as lamps to make curves in the corners of buildings or poles to reach distant structures. There will also be many NPCs on the streets: it appears that the goal will be to achieve the same outcome as Unity, the saga’s most dense chapter of inhabitants.
Obviously, this is only a leak, not official information. Fortunately, we will be able to have a confirmation or a denial shortly, as Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be shown at the Ubisoft Forward on September 10th.
