Twitter user @Max Weinbach broke the news that Samsung Note 20 series may use the same Exynos 990 chip as the global version of the S20 series, based on his discovery that the Note 20 firmware contains Exynos 990 information.
In addition, Max also shared a list of chips that Samsung One UI 2.5 will support. One UI 2.5 is the customized system that Samsung will launch on the Note20 series next month, and none of the previously mentioned Exynos 992 chips are mentioned in the list. Earlier reports said that Exynos 992 will enter mass production in August, which is also one of the evidence that this chip may not be equipped when the new mobile phone is launched.
There have been rumors that the global version of the Samsung Note 20 series will be equipped with Samsung’s latest self-developed chip Exynos 992. It is not clear whether Samsung will first launch the Note 20 series with Exynos 990. However, users of the National Bank version do not have to worry about this, because the Galaxy Note 20 device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 865 + processor in some markets such as the United States and China.
