Facebook will now require users to become viral to verify their identity. With this feature, Facebook wants to ensure that users see authentic posts from people instead of bots or users who hide their identities. It should be recalled that Facebook two years ago asked the pages with great repercussions to confirm their identity and location.
Facebook accounts that display ” non-authentic behavior ” and have posts that are constantly going viral should provide a form of identity. If the ID does not match the ID of that account or if the user rejects the authentication, then Facebook will reduce the distribution of posts and will practically reduce the views, and the people who interact with the posts.
If a profile that is considered suspicious is the administrator of a Facebook page, then the profile will not be able to manage that page unless the identity is verified.
Facebook is trying in this way to make people use their real at the same time while wanting to stop misinformation.
