Google has now announced that it will postpone the event on June 3, which was slated to reveal the first Android 11 beta.
In a short tweet, Google said that “now is not the time to celebrate,” probably with reference to the mass protests that are taking place across the country. Google added that they “will come back soon with more information about Android 11”.
As soon as there is a new date for the Android 11 beta launch show, you will find it here in good time.
We are excited to tell you more about Android 11, but now is not the time to celebrate. We are postponing the June 3rd event and beta release. We’ll be back with more on Android 11, soon.
