GoPro Hero9 Black officially launched with 5K video recording

The GoPro Black Hero9 officially released. The company’s new camera brings up to 5K video recording, taking photos with an up 20MP resolution and in RAW format, while at the same time offering the new generation of GoPro image stabilization, HyperSmooth 3.0.

Features:

If 5K seems like an exaggeration, you can choose between 4K, 2.7K, 1440p, and 1080p resolution. The main reason why one would want to stay in 5K is the support for exporting 14.7MP photos from the video. For fans of slow-motion video, the Hero9 Black offers slow-motion recording at 240fps and up to 8x. The battery of the Hero9 Black is 30% larger than the previous model. It offers a removable lens, along with the new, wide-angle Max Lens Mod with a 155-degree field of view. If you already have some accessories, the new offer is compatible with the Mod, Media, Light, and Display available on the market. For those who want to take a selfie, the GoPro Hero9 Black comes with a second screen on the front. It can also be used for live streaming and as a WebCam.

The GoPro Hero9 Black has a durability of up to 10 meters underwater. In the other modes, we see TimeWarp 3.0 Video, TimeLapse 4K, Night Lapse Video 4K, Time Lapse Photo, Night Lapse Photo, and LiveBurst, for recording 1.5 seconds before and after shooting. Finally, it has built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while you can activate GPS through the application, but also control it via voice commands.

Price:

The GoPro Hero9 Black is already available from the GoPro website with a price of EUR 480. Those who want to combine it with a one-year GoPro subscription, which provides you with unlimited space in the Cloud for your photos and a free camera replacement, the price drops to 380 euros. With every purchase, the company offers a free Sandisk Extreme 32GB memory card.
