Microsoft responds to critics of Halo Infinite

As promised by Microsoft, we saw for the first time gameplay from the upcoming Halo Infinite at the Xbox Games Showcase. However, many noticed that the graphics were not at the level of the “most powerful next-gen console” that our company reminds us again and again, with most critics wondering if it really is a game for the Xbox Series X or the Xbox One.

Speaking on the Inside Gaming website, Xbox CEO Aaron Greenberg responded to critics by saying that what we saw was just a build from a game. developing and that it was difficult to show the power and graphics of the Xbox Series X through a stream. He also stressed that we are in the middle of a global pandemic and we still have a long way to go before the release of Halo Infinite.

Although the above seems fair, the title did not really look what we would expect to see from a high-end next-gen console. As Greenberg pointed out, 343 Industries creates new builds every week, but we still do not know how old this build is so that we can have an idea. Finally, Greenberg challenges us to go back to the video and this time watch it at 4K / 60fps.
