Microsoft released the latest Windows 10 Quick Preview version 19640 system update.
Changes and improvements
- If the user’s download folder is synchronized to the cloud service provider, Microsoft will periodically clear the download folder automatically.
- Microsoft updated the login logic. After the user sets up the PC and logs in to enter the user name, accidentally typing spaces will no longer cause errors.
Known issues
- Microsoft is investigating the problem that some devices booted from eMMC storage will perform error checking when resuming from hibernation.
- Microsoft is studying reports about the long update process when trying to install new versions.
- Microsoft is fixing an issue for a future Insider Preview version, displaying a broken icon next to the page name in the “Documents and Downloads” section of “Settings”> “Privacy”.
- Microsoft is investigating reports of inconsistent thumbnails displayed on the taskbar (showing blank areas).
