OPPO Reno 2 and OPPO A5 (2020) smartphone users now receiving a new software update. The latest update brings the July 2020 security patch for OPPO Reno 2 and the August 2020 security patch update with ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10 and adds new features for OPPO A5 (2020).
The latest update comes with build number CPH1907EX_11_C.33 (622MB) for OPPO Reno 2 in India and CPH1933EX_11_C.69 or CPH1931EX_11_C.69 (771MB) for A5 2020 in some Asian countries.

- Added the “Rotate the guide bars with a “screen” switch for “Swipe-up gestures”. When this switch is on and your screen is in landscape mode, you need to swipe inwards from the longer edge of the screen to exit the current screen. When this switch is off and your screen is in landscape mode, you need to swipe inwards from the shorter edge of the screen to exit the current screen. (This switch is on by default. You can turn it off by going to “Settings – Convenience tools Navigation buttons – Swipe-up gestures”.)
- You can now record the system media-sound when recording your screen.
- You can now sync the volume level set on your Bluetooth device to your phone. To use this feature, go to “Settings – Bluetooth”, tap the icon in the upper-right corner, tap “Advanced settings” and then turn on “Media volume sync”.

- Optimized the transmission rate to reduce the audio lag for some Bluetooth earphones.

- Fixed a display issue of videos taken by the front camera when they were shared to another device by third-party apps.
- Fixed an issue where the HDR icon would not display when the rear camera was zoomed more than 1 time. Fixed an issue where the flashlight could be turned on by mistake occasionally. Fixed an issue where the camera would shoot automatically when you opened the Camera app again after you took a photo by Google voice.
