The first official announcement of the upcoming Pixel 5 from Google. The model is due to be released later in the autumn, and nothing more could be elicited from those responsible.
What will the Pixel 5 bring? So far there is hardly any information. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G should be on board, that seems to be the only fixed size in the specifications so far. But now there are also notes on the display.
Google has confirmed that the Pixel 5 will appear “later” this year. With 5G then of course and a huge display, as you can now read. If you previously assumed that it might be a 5.8 ″ display, you can hear something else from Ross Young.
It is always well informed and assumes a huge 6.67 ″ display, of course with a 120 Hz refresh rate. He also added that the display will be from Samsung Display and BOE.
The Pixel 5 release is not expected before October, and the COVID19 pandemic has also upset the Google schedule.
Next new Google phone, the 5G version, will be 6.67” from Samsung Display and BOE.
