According to the owner of a Realme XT, Roshan Singh, just one day after its purchase, and while he put the smartphone to charge, it explodes for no apparent reason. After the incident, Singh contacted the company and even sent a photo of the damaged smartphone. The response was that the explosion was caused by an external force.

Roshan Singh says the company came to this conclusion just by looking at the photo. This is based on the fact that Singh did not mention anywhere that the company asked to consider the Realme XT up close.

Finally, after the negative report of the incident on Twitter and Singh’s comment that he will take the necessary measures, Realme contacted him, but so far no solution has been found to his issue.

Finally, the Realme team made a public announcement wanting to clarify its position. The exact statement of the team is as follows:

For us, one of the key pillars is product quality. Every smartphone manufactured by Realme goes through a number of stringent quality and durability checks as customer safety is of utmost importance for us. As per our investigation, we have learned that the smartphone was damaged due to external force. The user’s smartphone battery caught fire as the smartphone was punctured from outside.
