Redmi has started rolling out a new October 2020 Security patch update for Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T smartphone users in India and Russia respectively. The latest update is based on MIUI 12 which is run on Android 11 and the all-new update comes with version number 12.0.1.0.QCOINXM (2.1GB) for Redmi Note 8 and 12.0.2.0.QCXRUXM (2.3GB) for Redmi Note 8T smartphone.
