Apple will release a new MacBook Air sometime in 2022, which will introduce the notch-like design adopted by the recent MacBook Pro. The white frame will also appear on the MacBook for the first time, and it is expected to also use the same.
From the picture, most of the design of this model is expected, but compared to the sharp increase in thickness of the new MacBook Pro, it still maintains a good figure, so the overall dimensional accuracy remains to be seen.
Apple held an event in November 2020 and launched the first batch of Macs using its self-developed M1 chip. Gullman believes that Apple has no major new products to launch this year.
Bloomberg Gullman previously stated that about 6 to 8 months from now, Apple will launch a new MacBook Air with a new design and equipped with Apple’s self-developed M2 chip. He believes that the upcoming model will have the biggest change in the design of the MacBook Air since 2010.
Gullman also predicts that in 2022, Apple will also launch a larger iMac equipped with Apple chips, a new Mac mini, a new iPhone SE, and a new iPad Pro. After Apple released 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with new designs and equipped with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips this week, only Intel-based Macs in its product line are left for the education market.
