Samsung started to release another Galaxy M31 smartphone software update in India yesterday. The software brought the April 2020 security patch, yet not long after the update was released, numerous Galaxy M31 users complained on social media media and Samsung member applications that the software made the smartphone brick.
Since there are still not many reports of device blockages, the issue doesn’t appear to be extensive. A few users can update the Galaxy M31 manually without experiencing any issues. Be that as it may, Samsung appears to have seen the issue and chosen not to push this software update wirelessly.
Samsung yesterday updated the software version M315FXXU1ATD1 for the Indian Galaxy M31 mobile phone OTA. It is unclear what caused the problem with the Galaxy M31, but it seems to be very similar to the problems encountered by some Galaxy A70 users after installing the Android 10 update. The previous system software update did not match the hardware of the Galaxy A70, which caused the device to become brick, but I am not sure whether this is also a problem with the Galaxy M31.
