About a month and a half after the presentation of the devices in China, Vivo formally reported that the Vivo X50 series will be released in different markets, including the European market, without the Vivo X50 Pro+.
The little brother of the X50 Pro, Vivo X50, has a 6.56-inch flat screen with AMOLED technology and FHD + resolution, with the same refresh rate at 90Hz and the same hole on the left side of the screen for the 32MP selfie camera. The Snapdragon 765G processor is inside the most economical proposal, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
The big changes are in the camera, as the Vivo X50 has a quad-camera system, but without gimbal stabilization. These four cameras are one main at 48MP, one portrait 13MP camera with 2x optical zoom, one ultra-wide at 8MP, and one for macro shooting at 5MP. In addition, it has a slightly smaller battery at 4,200mAh and supports the same fast wired charging at 33W.
As we have seen, the camera of the Vivo X50 Pro comes with a 48MP camera with a unique gimbal type image stabilization system, accompanied by a 13MP portrait camera with 2X optical zoom, 8MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto lens with 60x Hyper Zoom capability. In other features, the device comes with a curved screen of 6.56 inches FHD + resolution with support for HDR 10+ AMOLED technology, with a refresh rate of 90Hz. A hole on the left of the screen houses the 32MP selfie camera.
Inside the device is the Snapdragon 765G processor, with support for 5G networks, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The battery of the X50 Pro amounts to 4,315mAh and supports fast charging at 33W.
Right now we don’t know cost and accessibility, aside from the official declaration that they will be released in Europe also. Be that as it may, the costs of the essential models of the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro in China were around 440 and 541 Euros respectively, so we certainly expect something more than the previously mentioned costs.
