Through the support page of the official Rockstar website, you can see that Xbox Cloud Gaming has also been added to the list of platforms on which Red Dead Online and GTA Online games are available. As you can also see in the tweet just below or on the following page, Red Dead Online and GTA Online are reported as available on PC, console, Stadia (Red Dead Online only) and on Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Please note that this indicator does not refer to the possibility of running games via the cloud with Xbox Game Pass, but to access them even if you are not subscribed via a browser using the Xbox Cloud Gaming services, as is already possible with Fortnite. The difference is that the Epic Games game is free to play, while in the case of Red Dead Online and GTA Online, you need to own the game.
This integration is perfect for anyone who wants to be able to play anywhere and from any browser (subject to a fast enough connection, of course) or for those who can’t afford modern enough hardware to run such games. For the moment this is what we know. We just have to wait for more precise information from Rockstar or Microsoft.
