This year’s Coronavirus created a huge tragedy all around the world and following the epidemic all the smartphone vendors provided different kinda stickers/emojis to the users globally. On the list, Apple’s ‘Face with Mask’ emoji became one of the most-used emoji on social media.
When introduced with Unicode 1.0 back in 2015, this emoji dint got a smile or happy expression, even it shows a sad and weak face. But as the Coronavirus epidemic the latest iOS 14.2 beta update, Apple has swapped the grim-looking face of the emoji with a bright smiling face with rosy cheeks.
Many people suffering from this virus and for making them happy Apple’s ‘Face with Medical Mask’ emoji lets you encourage in this hard situation with happy eyes.
According to Emojipedia, the iPhone maker actually put the cute blushing/smiling face emoji, that already exists in its emoji library, in the new iteration. Note that this emoji is now available for iOS 14.2 beta testers and soon it will be available for all with the stable update.
The “Face with Medical Mask” carries the previous face even in the official version of iOS 14. So, those who are using iOS 14.2 beta are the only ones who will get access to the new emoji, as of now.
