MagiskOnWSA is a project that can obtain root privileges on Microsoft Windows 11 Android subsystem and install the Google service framework. It has 17,000 Stars on GitHub. However, this project has been officially banned by Microsoft GitHub. Access to the MagiskOnWSA repository currently only sees a notice that GitHub employees have disabled access to this repository due to a violation of GitHub’s Terms of Service.
Last year, we also released a tutorial on rooting the Win11 Android subsystem using this project, which requires building an artifact through this project, and then installing the dedicated mask Magisk App. It is unclear why the project was banned, and neither Magisk’s developers nor LSPosed’s developers responded on social media.
